VIMEDIX is pleased to provide you with an opportunity to experience first-hand their unique echocardiography simulator at one of ICCU Imaging seminars on Bedside Ultrasound in the ICU, scheduled December 11-12, 2009 at the Simulation Center of the Université de Montréal, Canada.
The recent world premiere of the VIMEDIX echocardiography simulator system has attracted interest from many medical specialties. The cutting-edge simulation system, which draws on extensive local expertise in the cardiology and virtual reality computer technology fields, allows physicians, medical students and other healthcare professionals to derive a highly realistic echo experience, from hand-eye coordination and probe handling to pathology recognition. One of the many advantages of the VIMEDIX simulator is its ability to facilitate the diffusion and utilization of bedside ultrasound by helping to train more physicians.
